Project Management

At Berry & Escott we have a team dedicated to carrying out routine and pro-active maintenance, servicing and repair activities. With a fleet of task specific vehicles and highly qualified field engineers available 7 days a week, our customers can rest assured their operational assets are in safe hands.

We recognise the impact on operational processes and the cost implications of unexpected plant failure. Berry & Escott can be relied upon to react quickly to bring equipment back into service.

Many of our customers choose a Berry & Escott Routine Maintenance Programme to ensure their equipment receives regular & scheduled attention, thereby significantly reducing the risk of unexpected operational failure or fatigue.

Where appropriate our engineers can carry out most mechanical repairs on site. Supported by our cutting-edge design team and ample machining and fabrication facilities, we are able to reverse engineer solutions and quickly manufacture replacement parts for rapid deployment wherever they are required.

Confined Space Entry

Berry & Escott engineers are often called upon to operate in challenging, restrictive & dangerous environments.

Our Confined Space Entry specialists are City & Guilds Level 2 Trained Operatives and capable of carrying out servicing, repair & maintenance work in the most demanding circumstances.

We believe this to be an essential in-house skill and ensure the health & wellbeing of personnel is of the highest priority at all times and in all operational environments.

Berry & Escott are SafeContractor certified and hold a EUSR National Water Hygiene Card. Our full list of certifications are available to view and download.

In keeping with their objective of ‘harnessing the latest technology to improve delivery of training skills’, the National College for Nuclear (NCfN) at Bridgwater & Taunton College wanted to develop a learning environment that could replicate a nuclear plant in microcosm. This would need to allow students to experience the demands of the nuclear workplace, enabling them to practise industry operations & behaviours away from the ‘Licensed Environment’. Design of this Practical Reactor Activity Centre was to be based on a twin flow loop of hot & cold water.
