Experience Stainless Steel Fabricator / TIG Welder – Pipework

£18.00 - £20.00 per hour

This role is suited to someone confident working in a fabrication environment, producing high-quality stainless steel fabrications and pipework assemblies.

You will work under the Fabrication Supervisor and be trusted to deliver work to a consistently high standard.

TIG welding is a core requirement of this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stainless steel fabrication and pipework assembly
  • TIG welding of stainless steel and pipework
  • Pipework fit-up and fabrication from drawings
  • Working accurately to fabrication drawings and specifications
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, finish and safety
  • Supporting production targets and team delivery
  • Keeping a clean, safe and organised work area

Essential Experience / Skills

  • Previous experience working in a fabrication environment (essential)
  • Strong TIG welding experience (stainless steel)
  • Proven stainless steel fabrication experience
  • Pipework fabrication and fit-up experience
  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
  • Good understanding of workshop safety and quality standards

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • CSCS card
  • IPAF
  • Forklift licence

Skilled CNC Turner

£15.50 - £18.00 per hour

We are seeking an Experienced CNC Turner to join our team. This role is primarily focused on CNC turning using Siemens-controlled machines, producing precision components to tight tolerances.

This position would suit a machinist who takes pride in accuracy, works in a structured and methodical way, and values producing high-quality components right first time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and operate CNC turning machines with Siemens controls
  • Program and edit programs at the machine (experience with Hypermill CAM software advantageous)
  • Interpret detailed engineering drawings
  • Select appropriate tooling and optimise cutting parameters
  • Produce first-off components and carry out in-process inspection
  • Maintain tight tolerances and excellent surface finishes
  • Ensure all work meets quality and procedural standards
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe workstation
  • Support CNC milling operations where required (advantageous)

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in CNC turning
  • Experience with Siemens control systems
  • Strong understanding of precision measurement and tolerances
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Methodical and quality-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload

Desirable

  • CNC milling experience
  • Experience using Hypermill CAM software
  • Apprenticeship or formal engineering qualification
  • Experience in low-to-medium batch precision work
